ABOUT ZETEO ACADEMY
Seeking, Perusing, Endeavoring, and Striving Together

After college training, homeschooling my children, and a decade of teaching and writing high school equivalency curriculum at Amarillo College, I fell in love with all things "education."

Zeteo is being built with that experience and love. With the help other homeschool veteran instructors, my priority is to help your child love learning.

Zeteo is the Greek word for seeking, pursuing, endeavoring, striving. I invite your family to come do that with us.

MARICRUZ BOOTHBY
Founder & Director

Maricruz is a wife to Reverend Jeremy Boothby, and she homeschool mom of 13 years (and starting all over again.) Her spicy and amazing children are Adam-Abel, 27, Emma, 20, and Vos, 5 years old.

She was a math and language instructor for Amarillo College's Adult Education and Literacy Department (AEL) form 2013 to 2023 and was a high school equivalency curriculum specialist form 2015-2023. She founded Zeteo Academy in 2020 and remains the Director as she is currently serving as a 6th grade math teacher with Amarillo ISD. Her public school service ends May 2025 and she will return to Zeteo to teach a whole new generation of precious little learners!

She has also previously had the pleasure of serving the Amarillo homeschooling community as board member for the Panhandle Christian Home Educators Association (PCHEA) and the Amarillo Flames Activities Association.

While she has a teaching assignment with the local school district, she is still here to serve her instructors and your family!
KAREN LARSEN

Following service in the U.S. Air Force, Karen turned her focus to her own six boys and homeschooled all of them from preschool through high school graduation. STATEMENT OF FAITH
As administrator of Zeteo Academy, I Maricruz Boothby, believe it is important to inform students and parents of my faith and any ministry intentions I have for my school.
I am a Protestant Christian who believes in the Trinity; one God who exists eternally in three persons God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I believe in the virgin birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the atonement/propitiation of the sins of His people. I believe in the second coming of Christ. I believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and consists of the Old and New Testaments.
We intend to minister to our students by caring for their whole wellbeing with the love of Christ.
We do not require that students or parents share in the Christian faith. However, all students and parents must understand that we will lead all students in word and deed according to the Christian faith and its principals.
